This Privacy Policy describes how Hyena Studios ("we," "us," or "our") handles information for the Textorio PC application (the "Game") and the textorio.eu website. Website visitor analytics are described separately from game data below.
The textorio.eu website uses Google Analytics, Metricool and Analytix to measure website visits. This website tracking is separate from the locally stored game progress described below.
Metricool records website visits and uses the visitor IP address to identify the country and page viewed. Metricool states that its tracker does not set cookies. See Metricool's tracking documentation for details.
If you use the contact form, we store the email address, optional name and message you provide so we can reply. These records are kept privately on our hosting, and a notification is sent to our Gmail inbox. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. To request deletion, email textorioworld@gmail.com.
Analytics records a successful contact request as a count. Your email address, name and message are not included in that event. Website interaction analytics also distinguish Textorio Steam clicks, demo-page clicks and manual gameplay-video engagement. A Steam click does not establish a wishlist or purchase.
We believe your privacy is paramount. The Game is designed to be a self-contained offline experience. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) from your device. This includes:
The Game saves your progress (profile name, factory state, research, inventory) to your local PC. This data is stored only on your device — it is not sent to us and we cannot access it. If you uninstall the Game, this data may be permanently deleted.
The Orbital Network is entirely opt-in. The Game works fully offline without it. If you choose to connect to an Orbital Network server:
The Game is distributed through the Steam platform by Valve Corporation. Valve may collect its own anonymous usage and crash data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Steam account information or any personal data held by Valve.
The Game does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
