Guides reflect the current Early Access game. Check the individual page for its version and use live machine panels for exact requirements.
New operator? Start here.
If you are still deciding whether to play, open the free demo guide first. It explains the opening slice and its limits. The full colony, later systems and Kepler mode belong to the paid game; the demo is a way to learn the controls and decide whether the factory loop suits you.
Follow that sequence if you want a learning path. You can also jump directly to the guide that matches your current factory. Each article links to the relevant reference pages, so you do not need to read the whole site first.
Keep a growing settlement alive
The colony guide separates continuous needs from construction materials. Use it when supplies are falling, growth has stalled or unrest is rising. It also explains why operator energy and colony food are different problems.
For a supply failure, start at the colony's current unmet need. Trace its route through storage, transport and production. Adding several buildings before identifying the missing condition can leave you with the same problem in a larger factory.
Go further with logic and Kepler
These are later questions. If a machine is missing input material or electricity, solve that physical supply problem before adding a controller or planning an expedition.
Need a reference rather than a walkthrough?
Use the wiki to identify systems and components. Use recipes when you know what you want to make and need its ingredients. The FAQ covers common game and purchase questions; the devlog provides development context and links to updates.
Inside the game, press K and point at a tile for a description. That is often the fastest way to connect a glyph on the map with the component name used in a guide.
If the behaviour still seems wrong, report a bug with the version, the steps you took and a screenshot that includes the source and destination. A reproducible example helps more than a description of the final symptom alone.
Your next factory starts here
Try it. Build something of your own.
See how Textorio feels to play, then decide whether to make the full game your next factory.
The free demo and paid game are available from the Textorio Steam page.
