Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Textorio PC application (the "Game") provided by Hyena Studios ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for your personal, non-commercial use on a device that you own or control. During the Open Alpha period, the Game is provided free of charge. Distribution terms may change upon full release.

2. User Conduct

You agree not to do any of the following:

• Use the Game for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or discover the source code of the Game.
• Cheat, use exploits, or use any third-party software to modify the Game experience in an unfair way.
• Use the Game's optional Orbital Network features to harass, impersonate, or harm other players.
• Upload factory tour data that contains offensive, illegal, or malicious content.
• Use the Game in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law.

3. Orbital Network (Optional Online Feature)

The Game includes an optional Orbital Network feature allowing players to connect to player-hosted servers for leaderboards and factory tours. Participation is entirely voluntary. When connected, your in-game profile name, factory statistics, and uploaded tour data are shared with the server you connect to. We are not responsible for the operation or content of third-party servers. No Orbital Network connection is required to play.

4. Open Alpha

The Game is currently in Open Alpha. It is unfinished, may contain bugs, and features may change significantly before full release. We make no guarantees about save file compatibility between versions. By using the Open Alpha, you acknowledge and accept this.

5. Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game (including all code, graphics, music, and text) are and will remain the exclusive property of Hyena Studios and its licensors. The Game is protected by copyright and other laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Game is provided "AS IS," without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Game will meet your requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free. This is especially relevant during the Open Alpha phase.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hyena Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Game.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
